So, what do we do as human beings?
We turn our attention toward what we already know, and when that is handled, we focus on everybody and their dog until we run out of time, resources, and mental bandwidth. That way there is never room left to focus on ourselves, which is just as well because we have no idea where to begin anyway.
If you recognize yourself in this, there is a good chance that what feels like exhaustion and even indifference has very little to do with work and everything to do with clarity.
